Hello!

I am so very excited to be able to have the opportunity to capture some of your most memorable moments for you. You can come with ideas and a glimpse of the kind of images you are wanting, or we can figure that out together! My sessions are most definitlyy collaborative, so if you are looking to go for a certain look or theme, I'm here for it! This guide is here to help guide you and ease any worries, anxiety or questions regarding your session. Ill cover everything from outfits, to locations, the process and more! Let's dive in!

Let's get started

The Process

When we first meet, I'll introduce myself to you and may even take some time getting to know you and your senior if I've never met you before. I am HORRIBLE with names, so if i forget, please give me some grace. Like Horrible. I will share with you my ideas and answer any questions. I'm open to anything. after our session I will sort through all the images, and get rid of anything blurry, blinking, or just unflattering. During my editing process I edit each photo in my editing style. One I feel your gallery is complete, I upload it to your personal gallery for you to view, download, and share (if you choose to do so).

Outfits

I want you to be comfortable and at ease in the outfits you choose. You should feel confident in your choices and the very best way to do that is to wear clothes that make you feel great. With that in mind there are a few styling choices that you can make that will not only make you feel comforable but also pair well with my editing style.

Styles

Neutrals

Neutrals are always a great option for any location and season and work well with each memeber of the family. Some common pairings are neutral shirts with black, blue, white or tan pants. You can go with off white or even white for a brighter look. Dark color choices will always give you a moodier vibe. Muted colors are where you want to be.

Patterms

If you are not into solid colors patterns can work good as well. If you do choose to add in a pattern, be sure the pants stay a solid color as to not make the image too busy. Stick with colors that compliment each other.

Formals

Formal is a great option as well if your wanting a more polished, sleek , elegant photo. If your choosing dresses, go for one that you may way to a formal or a wedding. Formal also tend to be best in black and white.

Textures

Texture are ALWAY great to add to any photo. They tend to pull more contrast to what normally would be a flat item of clothing. Not everyone need to have texture. Dad and kids can be in solids, while mom pairs a textured dress or sweater in with the image.

Photography is like poetry, only visual. There are so many stories and meanings one picture can portray, it all depends on who's looking at the photo and whether they are paying enough attention.

My goal is to capture beautiful in-between moments that make your story so special

Lighting and Time of Day

While sessions can be any time of day, Majority of my clients prefer the look and feel of Golden Hour. What is the Golden Hour? In short, it's the time of day and hour before sunset when the light is warm and soft and magical . Therefore if your wanting Golden Hour, we tend to book sessions 60-90 minutes before sunset in order to stay away from any harsh light.
with that being said, I completely understand that sunset is not everyones cup of tea so we definitley make any time you need work.

Locations

Depending on your package selection will depend on how many locations we do. There are lots of locations in the area that have many different settings to allow for a well rounded experience.

Poses and Prompting

When it comes posing, I will guide you through every step. We can be goofy, serious, or the next Top Model.

Hobbies and Sports

Adding in photos of any hobdies or sports is also a great way to highlight your senior. They can bring anything from knitting material to cars or tractors! There is no limit. When it comes to sports, we can definitely travel to your fields to grab some great images. Just be sure to bring your sportswear as well including any specific shoes.

Add- ons (Extreme Sports)

While I offer Private Extreme Sports Sessions, I also have it as an add-on for my Seniors who want to add on something a little extra special at a discounted price.

FAQ

Can I Print My Photos?

Absolutely! You get full printing rights with your gallery downloads. I do recommend printing with me for absolute best results and guarantees but not is not required. Each gallery is equipped with a store if you choose to buy prints through me. How many digitals you get depends on your package option.

How and When do I pay you?

Non- Refundable Retainers are due to book each session. This ensures that your sport is held just for you. Each retainer is applied to your final balance. Final balance can be paid before your session if you choose to do so, but balance is not due in full until day of the session. I accept cash, check, credit/debit, and gift cards.

What if I have to Cancel?

I get it, things happen that we cannot control. I ask that you please let me know as soon as possible. I always try to be sure to leave open sports available to reschedule to, but I cannot guarantee it will be during the same time or even the same week. During my busy season (September-December) space is definitely limited.

What's you turn around time?

Average amount of time it takes me to delivery your full gallery is 4 weeks. Please be aware that sometimes things come up that may add a day or two. During my busy season (September-December) you may be looking at 5-6 weeks unless otherwise stated. I do offer rush editing for an extra fee. I do my very best to get you a sneak peek out within 2 weeks.
