Hello!

I am so very excited to be able to have the opportunity to capture some of your most memorable first moments for you. You can come with ideas and a glimpse of the kind of images you are wanting, or we can figure that out together! This guide is here to help guide you and ease any worries, anxiety or questions regarding your session. Ill cover everything from outfits, to prep, the process and more! Let's dive in!

Let's get started

The Process

When we first meet, I'll introduce myself to you and may even take some time getting to know your newborn if I've never met you before. I am HORRIBLE with names, so if I forget, please give me some grace. Like Horrible. I typically prefer to start with the newborn individual images then move onto family and siblings if need be. Because these sessions can last hours, I ask that any young siblings be brought towards the end of the session that way they do not have to sit thought the entire thing. after your session I spend a few weeks creating your beautiful gallery. Once I feel your gallery is complete, I upload it to your personal gallery for you to view, download, and share (if you choose to do so). When booking, I recommend 7-14 days from your due date. We then move it around as needed when baby comes.

Outfits/Colors

I try to keep in mind any specific colors you would love to have when choosing my backdrop selection. Your package you choose depends on how many different setups I do. I also take into consideration your child's skin tone to make sure we get the best outcome. (Yellow is not everyone's color LOL) I also have a few outfits to select from as well. During our original consultation I go through and specific themes or ideas you may have.

Pre-Arrival Prep

Before you arrive, there are a few tips I recommend to get the best of your session.
- Hold baby's feeding off until you arrive at the studio. Once you arrive I ill get them prepped for first look and allow you to feed.
- Trim any nails and apply lotion.
- Be sure to bring any special items you want included in photos.
- Be sure to bring EXTRA formula or breast milk in case we need to top them off in the middle.
- if using a binkie be sure to bring it with you. it really helps during sessions.

Posing and Families

Posing your newest edition is a process. It takes time. I can take 45 minutes sometimes just to get them comfy and ready for 4 photos and then I switch it all up again. Feel free to bring something to keep you as parents occupied or bring a pillow and catch up on that missed sleep. Family poses are typically done on a solid color backdrop and can be done with baby wrapped or unwrapped if they allow. I take time to get a few of each parent alone with baby, some all together and some with sibling.

FAQ

Can I Print My Photos?

Absolutely! You get full printing rights with your gallery downloads. I do recommend printing with me for absolute best results and guarantees but not is not required. Each gallery is equipped with a store if you choose to buy prints through me.

How and When do I pay you?

Non- Refundable Retainers are due to book each session. This ensures that your sport is held just for you. Each retainer is applied to your final balance. Final balance can be paid before your session if you choose to do so, but balance is not due in full until day of the session. I accept cash, check, credit/debit, and gift cards.

What if I have to Cancel?

I get it, things happen that we cannot control. I ask that you please let me know as soon as possible. I always try to be sure to leave open sports available to reschedule to, but I cannot guarantee it will be during the same time or even the same week. During my busy season (September-December) space is definitely limited.

What's you turn around time?

Average amount of time it takes me to delivery your full gallery is 4 weeks. Please be aware that sometimes things come up that may add a day or two. During my busy season (September-December) you may be looking at 5 - 6 weeks unless otherwise stated. I do offer rush editing for an extra fee. I do my very best to get you a sneak peek out within 2 weeks.
